I Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in
his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;
by his wounds you have been healed.
My thoughts: This verse tells us straight out. Jesus not only bore our sins when he was crucified, his wounds healed us. Once we grab hold of that in our thoughts and hearts and believe it as much as we believe we are forgiven, and then our healing should come.
